My great grandfather Patrick Darby was born in County Meath in 1835, died in Boonville, Missouri, USA IN 1917. His father appears to have been James Darby and mother Mary Farrell. I would appreciate any information of the parish in which Patrick lived before immigrating in the 1850s. I will be in Ireland from July 8 to 18 and would like to visit the area/town/parish in which my great grandfather was born and lived.

Note, although I listed children names for James and Mary there were more as Patricia identified.
The Tithe Applotment Books list a James Darby as head of household in the townland of Fraine, parish of Athboy, Co. Meath. Listed above him is Thomas Darby--his father or brother? Also, if you look down the page, there is a Farrell, likely Mary's family.
