Looking for family of Peter Farley, born in Redhills, County Cavan in 1842

My great-great-grandfather, Peter Farley, was born in Redhills, County Cavan, on 19 Jan 1842. He emigrated to the U.S., married Annie Oleson in Minnesota in 1873, fathered nine children, and died on 3 Jun 1924 in Staples, Minnesota. According to his death certificate, his father was Peter Farley (born in County Cavan, Ireland) and his mother was Elizabeth McMahon [McMakin?], born in County Fermanagh, Ireland.

I have found records for one sibling of Peter Farley, a sister named Elizabeth. According to her death certificate, she was born in about 1838 in County Cavan, her father was Peter Farley (born in Ireland), and her mother was Elizabeth McMahon (born in Ireland. Elizabeth married Patrick Cavanagh and they moved to Scotland, where they had six children. They emigrated to the U.S. Elizabeth died on 10 Jan 1929 in Fayette, Pennsylvania.

I am looking for more information about my great-great-grandfather's parents, Peter Farley and Elizabeth McMahon. Specifically, what are their birth/death dates and locations? When and where did they get married? How many children did they have, other than Peter and Elizabeth? Where are they buried? Any information will be helpful and much appreciated as I continue my research. Thank you!

If it helps at all, the Scottish birth certificate for Thomas Cavanagh in Cambusnethan (16th Jan 1866) states his parents (Patt & Elizabeth) were married 31.5.1861 in Co. Cavan.  I checked the RC marriage records for Annagh for May 1861. There was only 1 marriage that month and it wasn’t this couple. So it must have been in another parish.

Judith Ann:

Redhill is small village in northwest Cavan near the Fermanagh border https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redhills,_County_Cavan The civil parish is Annagh and the RC parish is also Annagh. However, the baptismal records for the parish start in 1845 after Peter was born. I also did not locate baptismal records for any of his siblings. Because of when church records start, we will not be able to find any church records for the parents Peter Farley and Elizabeth McMahon. I did find a possible lead for Peter Farley in the Tithe listings for Annagh parish from 1825. Can't confirm that this is your Peter Farley but there is a record showing that Peter Farley and Henry Neal were leasing ten acres of land in Utregha and Ramulligan. Ramulligan is a townland in Annagh civil parish.
