Looking for Enright connection in County Kerry, circa 1826-1854

I am looking for the family of Hanora Enright, born 14 Jul 1826 (said to have been in County Kerry). She married Patrick Finnegan (Finucane or similar) about 1844-1848. The couple had two children:

Mary Ann b. 3 Apr 1849 (said to have been born also in Kerry)

Michael b 2 Dec 1852

Family emigrated to North America, eventually landing in Meeker Co., Minnesota in Dec 1857.

I find no passenger list mention of any of the four except a Patrick Finnegan in 1852, apparently alone.

I've made contact with about 25 Enright cousins through DNA matches, very few with trees that go back that far and none of whom  mention Hanora or Finnegan. Most of these cousins trace their family back to Tarbert, Ballybunion, Ballylogford, Listowell, or Moyvane.

Can anyone help?

The subscription site Roots Ireland has two Hanora Enright baptismal records in 1826 in the RC parish of Ballylongford in Co. Kerry.

Hanora Enright baptized July 8 1826 father Dermot Enright mother Margaret Collins location Ballylongford

Hanora Enright baptized June 19 1826 father Patrick Enright mother Ellen Moriarty location Mortera

Also, there was an 1825 Hanora Enright baptismal record in Ballylongford and another in 1827 same parish.

I did not locate a Hanora Enright marriage to a Patrick Finnegan or Finucane in Co. Kerry

I also did not find the baptismal records for Mary Anne or Michael but I believe there is a gap in Ballylongford baptismal records in the 1849-1852 time period.

Roger,

Thank you for the information.

I should have added that Hanora's parents are listed on her 1922 death certificate as "John Enright" and "----- Leach" (or possibly Leath - it is difficult to tell.) I have a hunch that it may be Lynch, but it is only a hunch. The informant was her much younger son who very likely never saw and only periodically heard tell of the names of his grandparents. He was born 10 years after they came to the US.

No available records with John Enright and a wife who was a Leach.

Eileen,

Thank you for the death certificate! Being familiar with County Kerry (I hope), can you tell what the "Place of death" might be? I can not read it, maybe Shanagran? Possibly a "townland?" I see nothing in Listowel that appears similar.

Eileen,

The death record (above) shows John Enright to be a farmer. Thinking that farmers were likely a stationary lot, I checked Griffiths Valuation and found 12 John Enrights renting property in what I believe is the general vicinity of Aghanagran. I can not make any sense of the map references in Griffith's however, to determine where the actual property was situated. I'm wondering if any of the adjacent properties were rented by other family members, or if any of the 12 listings for John were adjoining properties.

The sites where I am viewing Griffith's Valuation have map references and historic/modern maps, but I can't figure out what is what. For example:

Is the information above suppose to lead me to a particular point on a map?
