Looking for any possible descendants of Patrick Dunne and Lucy Murray. Planning a trip to Clara, County Offaly once the COVID restrictions are lifted both in Ireland and the United States and would like to meet any cousins while in Ireland.
khackett:
Can you provide more detail on Patrick Dunne and Lucy Murray. Were they married in Ireland? Years of birth? Any other information on the couple such as parents names? Thanks!
Roger McDonnell

My Great Grandmother was Jane Dunne. She immigrated to Dollar Bay, Michigan, United States in 1890 with her 2 children, Patrick Hogan (1886-1909) and Elizabeth Hogan (1888-1969).
The family that remained in Ireland resided in Clashawane and Clara.
Patrick Dunne was born circa 1812 and died in 1884; and Lucy Murray was born circa 1830 and also died in 1884.
In the death notices for the children of Joseph Dunne and Elizabeth Walsh, it stated in each of them "a member of an old and well-known family."
