Lisheennacannina Townland

Hello. I just retired and have all the time in the world now to devote to my paternal Irish ancestry. Starting with this townland that's on the headstone in Randolph MA, of my distant grandmother

Hanora (Sullivan) Hickey, wife of John Hickey, born at Lissheeniganna (misspelled) Co. Kerry, Ireland. Died Jan.21, 1897. Aged 65 yrs, 9 mos, 21 dys.

Buried in the same plot are 2 infant children, Johanna M. and Cornelius J. and her husband John Hickey who had predeceased her at age 50.

When I visited Ireland in March 2015 we use GPS coordinates to find the land, but I would welcome any information that anyone may have about this townland and people.

Thank you all,

Patty Sullivan
