Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I found an 1871 civil marriage record for Ferdinand. He married Hanora Sullivan in Killarney where he was stationed. Since Hanora was from Killarney, Ferdinand was reassigned to Limerick city and two of their children were baptized in Limerick city. Later he was assigned to Portlaois Co. Laois where a third child was baptized. These baptismal records were located on the subscription site Roots Ireland. The marriage record was on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie I did not find a death record for Ferdinand.
