I believe his father was Darby Mannion or a variant of Darby. His mother was Margret, both From Whitepark, Clonbern, Galway. Lawrence emigrated to NY in I believe 1846 and settled in Haverstraw, Rockland County, NY where he had four brothers and three sisters.

Unfortunately, records for the RC parish of Kilkerrin and Clonbern start very late (1892) so there would be no baptismal record for Lawrence if he was baptized in that parish.
Civil registration of births did not begin until 1864.

Hi, It's not clear from your message how much info you have on the Haverstraw years. If you have Ancestry, you can see the 1860 census showing Lawrence alone with 3 children. In 1865's NY State census, he is remarried, to Ann, with two more children.
