My ancestery immigrated to America in 1818from Londonderry having lived in the County of Derry, Parish Clondermot. I understand that the landlord system existed at this time. Where can I find the name of the landlord over my ancesters. They were from the Townland of Corrodyjust east of Derry City. Many thanks for any suggestions. Thanks

Griffiths Valuation for 1858 lists the main landlords in that townland as Taggart & Knox. Of course they may not have owned the land themselves. They may have been renting from someone else, possibly one of the London Livery companies.
