Janice,
The free site irishgenealogy.ie has "transcripts with record-images for all surviving nineteenth-century Church of Ireland marriage, baptism and burial records in Co. Kerry." I did not find any records for anyone named Gatt in Kerry. Sorry!
Colaris or Collorus coastguard station was located on the northern side of the Beara Peninsula - close to a village with the same name located in a townland also named Collorus - the townland is located in the civil parish of Tuosist.
For Church of Ireland purposes Tuosist was part of a parish Union of Kenmare, in Ardfert Diocese. Records survive back to abt 1818 for this parish union and held by the RCB Library in Dublin, some records are included in the RCB Anglican Records Project currently just marriages from 1818.
Baptism, marriage & death/burial records for Kenmare parish union are included back to abt1818 on IrishGenealogy website as mentioned by Patrica above, but I dont see any records for surname Gatt or similar.

I see your George posted at 'Colaris' station from 7th August 1838 to to 14th July 1841 (ADM175), his previous posting was at Castletown, the southern side of Beara, where he appears to have started his time in the Coastguard as a Boatman in February 1832.
Janice,
Ancestry has a Family Tree - James J. Gatt - born about 1839 County Cork. Father: George Gatt and Mother: Marion Richardson.
It may connect!
Regards
Further to previous Post, I attach a record for a James Gatt in Castletown Bear) Beara - Bere 1849 when he was a witness in the Petty Sessions Court and Christina Gatt who married Thomas Hasting in the parish of Killaconenagh in the Poor Law Union of Castletown and Barony of BEAR.
Regards,
Janice,
If James Gatt was born in Cork due to the fact that his father was stationed there as a member of the coast guard, and belonged to the COI, the irishgenealogy.ie site only carries Cork records for RC parishes, so you will not find a record for him there.
Regards,
The Cork/Kerry county border run through part of Beara - see the dotted line with yellow background on the 1838 SDUK map extract below, Colaris Co. Kerry marked in Red, Castletown Co. Cork in Blue, the locations are about 20 km (~12 miles) apart.. but quite a tough hilly journey. :
Castletown was also called Casteltown-Bearhaven, CastletownBere or BereHaven is in the civil parish of Killaconenagh, which was part of a Church of Ireland parish union named Berehaven based in the town, the good news is that this parish has baptism records going back to 1787, marriages from 1805 and death burials from 1796, these are held by the RCB Library in South County Dublin - which is the repository for many Church of Ireland historic records. The National Archives of Ireland have some microfilm records for this parish. As far as I can tell none of these registers are available online at present... might be worth keeping an eye out on the Anglican Records Project ..
Janice,
To add to the Post by Shane Wilson, attached gives detail of whom you can contact in relation the Gatt family of Castletown, Co. Cork.
A George Gatt is recorded in Castletown in relation to a dog licence which he took out in March 1869. No. 224 on sheet.
The sheet is too large for posting.
No death record found for him.
Regards,
Janice,
Please see attached record for Isabella Gatt in relation to her marriage to Edward James Grimston in Castletown in 1863.
Regards,
Janice,
Griffith's Valuations have a George Gatt in the townland of Knockaneroe, Castletown - House Book 1850 - Lease from Michael O'Sullivan,
1852 same. In the handwritten list it is at No. 56. There is no surname in the transcription, apparently the transcriber was unable to decipher it.
A John Grimson is recorded in 1858. He appears to have been involved with a hotel there. He is recorded in 1866, 1867 and 1868 as having
taken out a dog licence. That law came into force in 1866 in Ireland. He may be the father of Edward James Grimson who married Isabella Gatt.
Regards,
