Kenny family in Kings County/Offaly 1800s possibly in Clara

Looking for Christiana (maiden name might be Dower/Doerr/Dore) Kenny, b. abt 1810 King’s County, husband Mr. Kenny (possibly Eoghan first name), and their children: Patrick b 1835, Eugene (Owen) b. 1838, Eliza b 1842, Sarah Maria b 1846, Bernard J b. 1848, and Bridget b. 1851. Mr Kenny died before 1855 when Christiana and all six children emigrated to Bangor, Maine in the U.S. My grandmother, Sarah Maria’s daughter, said they came from “Clare” or “Clara”.  Christiana died in San Francisco 29 Sept 1890 and Eliza, her daugher arranged her gravestone which reads “Christine Kenney born in King’s County, Ireland."

Any help locating baptism or birth records, finding Christiana’s maiden name, etc would be most appreciated.

I think Owen Kenny returned to Ireland and married Mary Rock in Tullamore in 1869 and then Mary died in 1878, and Owen joined the rest of the clan who were all by then in San Francisco.

Eileen, thank you so much for posting info on Owen Kenny’s marriage. This helps me eliminate this possibility,  as my Owen Kenny b. 1838, was much younger and unmarried at the time of this marriage. The family I am looking for is (unknown first name) Kenny, husband, Christiana (unknown maiden name but could be Dower/Dore/Doerr maybe?), b Nov 1810 in King’s County, and their children Patrick b 1835, Eugene (Owen) b. 1838, Eliza b. 1842, Sarah Maria b. 1846 (my great-grandmother), Bernard J b. 1848, and Bridget b. 1851.  After this Christiana is a widow, but I don’t know Mr. Kenny’s name or date of death in King’s County.  Any birth or baptismal records would be most helpful, or marriage record of Christiana and Mr. Kenny.
