Hi there, was just wondering if anyone could help me find a death record for Joseph Stewart he was born in donegal workhouse in 1902 and by 1911 hes not on the census with the family anymore and they have stated on it that two children have died i know another one of their children George had died but cant seem to find any record for Josephs death, His parents were George Stewart and Ellen, thank you

Hi there is a Joseph Stewart died in Milford workhouse on 2nd April 1904, son of a naval pensioner, you can see the registry entry here on a free site. https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/
Select civil recorda and on you go, there is no way of ascertaining it is he as the person mentioned is the workhouse manager..

Are you confident that the 1911 census record of the Stewart family is the same family as the Joseph Stewart birth record? The father's occupation in the birth record shows he was a tailor, and the 1911 census record shows him as an agricultural laborer. I suppose one could have a change of occupations, but just curious if you noted that.
