I am searching for death records/death certificate or burial information for John Walsh - He was born May 1866 in Oughterard Galway Ireland and died in 1949 in Lower Camus Connemara Co Galway. His wife was Mary Conneely. His Parents were Patrick Walsh and Mary Mulkerns. I have been searching but cant find anything. Thank you

I think the 1949 record is incorrect for you. The John Walsh from Turloughbeg was married to a Kate and also had a daughter Kathleen. I will look again.

I checked the 1926 census and found a John and Mary Walsh in Camus Oughter. John was 74. There were four children living with them Michael. Anthony, Martin and Maggie. I searched for a death record for this John Walsh up to 1949 with no good leads. Is this the correct family?

The children that I have for John and Mary (Conneely) are Mary, Nora, John (my grandfather), Patrick, Bridget, Margaret,Thomas, Martin, Ann, Barabara, Hugh and Peter. They were from Camus, Oughtergard -so possibly? From what I was told they could possibly be buried in Camus at Litir More na Coile - but when I search that nothing comes up and I dont know what it means in English?
