I am trying to find information about my great-grandfather, John O'Connell from Port Magee and/or his wife Mary Casey O'Connell from Ballinskelligs. They were married in 1870 in Duneagan and had approximately 7 children, one of which was my grandfather, John, who emigrated to St. Louis, MO in 1902. Looking for any living relatives in Ireland or the USA.
Slimboreno:
See fourth record 1870 civil marriage record. Names of fathers listed https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_re…
Is this your O'Connell family in the 1901 census? http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Kerry/Portmagee/Portma…; John is not included. Civil parish is Killemlagh and RC parish was Prior/Ballinskelligs
1911 census http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Kerry/Portmagee/Portma…
see fourth record likely death record for John O'Connell 1926 https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_retu…
did not locate Mary's death record.
Have you considered DNA testing?
