One more child of that couple to add to your list - birth of Thomas Stanislaus Joseph Keogh on the 7th July 1866 at 19 Spittlefields Dublin city, father John a merchant, mother Maria Governey.
Thom's DIrectory of 1863 lists the address as "Kehoe & McMillan", provision Merchants. The same details appear in the 1868 and 1869 editions. Nearby on the same street at numbers 13 to 15 is a Laurence Kehoe, yard & stores - also at 100 Francis-street - possible relation ?
The Kehoe/McMillan business at 19 Spittlefields vanishes some time in the early 1870s - by 1872 it's listed as 18-19 Joseph Byrne, butter & bacon factor.
for ref. the other children baptised St. Nicholas RC, Francis Street Dublin city (there's also a Church of Ireland parish & church of the same name.
shanew147..Thanks for that information especially the addition of Thomas Stanislaus. Daniel of 1842 has proven very elusive. If he is as I believe the same person as my gt grandfather, he was well documented coming to the States but impossible to find after 1900. Those years here when a person became deceased would have been documented in multiple locations. Thanks again
Hello
I have just seen your post. My grand father was a Stanislaus Keogh. He owned a thriving Sac & Jute Business, & employed a large no of poor Women, from the inner City tenements. Who worked on the Sacks. KEOGH & CO. Situated on Georges Quay, Dublin. He dissapeared in 1964!
Maybe this is helpful? I am researching his background and trying to find out what may have happened to him?

I came across Maria Governey in this post. My mother was Governey. The Governeys resided in Ballylinan in 18th-20th century. I have extensively researched them. I have most of Maria's information viz. marriage, all children (12?), death of her and husband John Kehoe. I cannot seem to find any evidence of her birth/baptism. 1822/23? I would appreciate any information. I am happy to share same. I can do so over email. I will watch this post for next few weeks.
