John Hamilton (Feb 10, 1784 - Oct 13, 1837) County Armagh

Hi!

I'm Looking for the parents of John Hamilton (Feb 10, 1784 - Oct 13, 1837) County Armagh. He was enlisted in the 4th Royal Regiment of Dragoon Guards (Feb 10, 1806 - Dec 7, 1810). Married Sarah Lang from Tynan, County Armagh (May 5, 1790 - April 6, 1868) in March 1806. They migrated to Ontario Canada around 1830. I have done the BIG Y 700 DNA test and have discovered that our haplogroup is shared by the current Baronet of the Silvertonhill Hamilton Line. I-BY34528. I have corresponded with the current Baronet (has extensive genealogy) and confirms his line and my line connect to the second son (Alexander Hamilton) of James Hamilton 5th Laird of Cadzow (1396-1441). We are the group B of the ancient Hamilton line according to the Hamilton DNA Project. I'm trying establish a more precise connection with John's Parents etc. Any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Best-

Joseph Hamilton
