I’m researching my family history and am hoping someone familiar with Kingscourt, County Cavan might be able to assist.

I’m trying to locate information on John Clarke, born around 27 October 1958, likely in or near Kingscourt. His mother’s name was Margaret Clarke, and his grandmother was Annie Reilly.

Family recollections suggest that John’s father was killed in a quarry accident in Kingscourt when John was still a baby.

John later moved to Sydney, Australia, and was living there in the early 1980s, where he possibly worked for Qantas Airlines as a diesel or aircraft engineer.
