Jno and James Madden also Julia Reed

HI! Searching for information on my great-grandfather's parents. His name is James Madden (married to Julia), 1869-1911. Both born in Ireland but died in the US. On James' death cert it gives his parents as "Jno" (I know that normally means John) Madden and Sarah Shields - both from Ireland. I think - but not sure - Jno was baptized in 1848, Ballyhurley. The dates work, with James being born in 1869. But the only Sarah Shields I found appears to have been single and childless.

Also, James' wife Julia - I believe maiden name Reed - also from Ireland, but I cannot find anything at all about her except her death cert. Says that her parents are Thos Reed and Elizabeth Jarrett (?) (handwriting is unclear).
