My grandfather, Jeremiah Geran was born in Churchtown in 1887/8. He is listed in the 1901 census under Guerin. I understand there are baptism records for him. Can anyone help me find these please? Many thanks, Liz Geran.
Liz,
here is a possible birth record for Jeremiah in 1886 - https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_retur…
If it is a baptism cert you are looking for you could search the parish records on the nli.ie site.
Hope this helps.
Thanks Jim.
That looks exactly right. Many thanks for your help.
Best wishes
Liz

Liz,
Sorry, I just realized that you are actually looking for the son of the Jeremiah who died in 1911.
I believe that he can be found on the followimg record:
England & Wales, Civil Registration Death Index, 1916-2007
died Mar 1953, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.
R. Hogan
Thank you, that is very helpful. Best wishes, Liz.
