James Kiernan who left Aughagreagh, County Longford around early-mid 1860s

I heard that someone from Australia was asking around our neighbourhood in County Longford about a James Kiernan ancestor originally from Aughagreagh (a couple of miles from Ballinalee). I don't know the date of the Australian person's visit, except that it was around 10 years ago and before Covid. I don't have their contact details and have no way of obtaining them. If you are the person who is looking for information about James Kiernan from Aughagreagh, Ballinalee, County Longford who left Ireland in the 1860s, please get in touch with me.

It's OK, thanks. I'm not actually looking for information about the Kiernans of Aughagreagh but I do have information for the person from Australia who visited the area, about James Kiernan who left Aughagreagh in the early to mid 1860s. I am uncertain when they visited. I though it was 10 years ago, but it could be as much as 25 years ago.
