Interpretive assistance for baptism record

Hello and Happy New Year,

May I please ask your assistance to interpret the attached baptism record which I downloaded from the parish registers at NLI.ie? This record comes from the following register: Stradbally, Co Laois, Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin, Baptisms Sep 1839 to Apr 1840. What I can't read from the record is found on the last line of the left-hand page, a baptism with the last name Gannon. This person may be my ancestor, but I'd need to know the baby's name and the parents' names if you have a means to decipher that information.

I'll look forward to your reply at your convenience. Thank you for your kind assistance.

Looking at the register, it was not possible to see all the words clearly. I did see Ann Gannon though. And I was able to determine that the baptism was in Dec. 1839.  I then looked on rootsireland.ie for a Gannon baptism in Stradbally in 1839 and found the following.  It does not include the baptismal date but the birth date given is 1 Dec.

Name: Mary Gannon

Date of Birth: 01-Dec-1839

Date of Baptism: 0-Jan-0

Parish/District: Stradbally

County Co. Laois

Father: Bern Gannon Mother: Anne Gannon

Thank you very much, Patricia! Unfortunately, this is not the ancestor I hoped to find, but will retain the information in case I find a connection in the future. All the best, Patrick

Can you tell us who you are looking for? Perhaps we can assist.
