I am looking for information about Knockvicar House by Lough Key

I have a writeup from my great-great grandmother Sarah Devenish that states her great grandfather was Randle Peyton born 1741 and owned Knockvicar House.  I waold like any information on Knockvicar house. Also the children of Randle Peyton and Francis Nickeoson..

Please see WikiTree  - Randle Peyton which has family details. Apparently his son Charles J inherited the estate.

If you Google Knockvicar House you will get details of the estate. If you click on Estate you will get a photo of the original house. www.landedestates@nuigalway has very little on the property.

Griffith's Valuations printed in 1858 has a record of a number of "Peyton" in the townland of Ardash.
