Looking for any info about John James Reilly, b.1 Jun 1865. Emigrated to US in 1887 or 88. Died 1920 in Cambridge Mass. Married Margaret Malone, b. Sept. 1865 and anything on their parents. Have no info on where they were born, except Ireland.
John had a son, John Joseph, 1892-1949. Married to Katharine Agnes Noonan, 1890-1935 descended from James T Noonan, 1865-? And Catherine Corbett 1862-1917.

Do you know if John Reilly and Margaret Malone were married in Ireland or another country. I searched all civil marriages thru 1900 and did not see a record.
If john and Margaret were born in Ireland and you don't know their parents names, we can't confirm a record because both names are very common and John Reilly in particular. In fact, there were 72 John Reilly births in Ireland in 1865.

Thank you for your reply. His name was John James Reilly b 1865. On jun 1st 1892when my grandfather John Joseph was born , his age was listed as 27, which I believe would make his birthrate in the latter part of the year as it was listed at 28 on the birth of his next child on jun 2 1893. All children were born in the US starting in 1892. As for marriage I have no information at this time as to where they were married. My sister has more paperwork and she will send it to me when she finds it. I will resubmit this request then.

My dad Leo Ronald Reilly was born and lived early on in Cambridge Massachusetts, so I am guessing that is where they lived. Also John and Margaret were married in Cambridge MA. in 1920.

The 1900 US census shows that John and Margaret were married around 1892 likely 1891. John came to America in 1887 and Margaret came in 1882 so the marriage had to be in America possibly in New Hamphire where the children were born.
