Sue:

I can't tell if you have the 1901 and 1911 census records for Nora/Honoria Egan. (see below).

I found a possible civil death index record for her in 1920. The one flaw is that I expected a year of birth around 1837-1839 but is shows 1847. Possibly the informant thought she was younger or maybe this record is for a different person. I did not locate a death record for Daniel.

I don't think William and Mary Leigh/Lee had any children since in 1911 she was married 20 years with no children.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Roger that was fast. I have Honoria Goonan Egan b 1840. Her first son John b 1862. I have found mistakes on other death records and certificates and other people I have researched not the same age throughout their life! This is possibly her. I am wondering if Daniel died in WW1. There is a man by his name enlisted. Possibly he went to England or something. I might have to explore that further. I think his middle name would be after my great great grandfather. I cannot get much further back to see if Henry was a previous name in the family too. I have concluded the same regarding Mary Leigh/Lee. I do not know the accurate spelling either and her age at the census seems to indicate no children. Can you find a marriage for John ALbert Egan b 1901 at all? He had one daughter I know of named Ann Marie. Thanks for your help. This site has proven worthwhile. Sue
