Looking for some direction on where to look next for details for Teermore, Roscommon pre 1825 or so. I have Timothy (Thady ) Gannon born about 1800 married to Catherine Kelly also born about 1800. I believe Timothy’s father is Edmond Gannon of Teermore on Tithe records. What else can I search for either more details of Edmond or Timothy’s early years? Timothy married Catherine in Feb 1830 in Croghan. Thanks for any guidance.

The only suggestion I can make for this period is the Elphin Diocesan Census 1749.

Does anyone have access to the 1749 Elphin census and can do a search for Gannon. Teermore was in kilmacumsy area. Looking for gannons that I can follow to possibly find Edmond Gannon parents. Edmonds sons were born around 1800. Thank you
Hi Eric my grandfather was Michael Gannon born in the late 1890's Elphin, Roscommon married Dorothy (Sheffield, UK). 3 children 2 daughters now deceased and 1 son (still alive), my father (born 1934). My maiden name Catherine Gannon. Married name Charlton born in Sheffield, UK. I am due to visit this year and would like to know if any Gannons are still living in Elphin.
