FRANCES WRIXON of County Cork

Dear Trish:

Many thanks for your post to the Ireland Reaching Out message board.  The surname Wrixon appears to have been in the Cork South parish in the early 1800s with a William Wrixon acting as a baptismal sponsor for Bridget Desmond of Evergreen in that parish.

You might try to contact the Cork City Archives for further information about sources for research that they may have.  Their website address is:

The best of luck with your research.  You might also consider creating an Ancestor Profile for the Wrixon family under the XO Chronicles tab at the top of the page.

Kind regards,

Jane
