Fr Patrick Ryan - Pallasgreen

I am looking for information on my great-grandfather's brothers who were priests.

One was Patrick Ryan, parents were Richard Ryan & Johanna Dwyer. He was baptised 9 Jul 1848 in Pallasgreen & Templebredon.

Apparently he commenced training for the priesthood at St John's Waterford, in the Archdiocese of Cashel and remained there for 2 years before going to St Patrick's Thurles in 1869. Apparently ordained on 15 June 1873 by the Right Rev Dr Leahy, Archbishop of Cashel. Shortly after this he went to the Diocese of Maitland, NSW before becoming parish priest of Tamworth NSW Australia. He was known by the name Patrick Dwyer Ryan. I got this information from a newspaper article published at the time of his death in 1899.

I have found baptism dates for a large number of his siblings (see IrelandXO / Ryan - Dwyer Family of Pallasgreen), however there was apparently another brother, Hugh, who also became a priest but  stayed in Dublin, Ireland. I have not been able to find any information to verify or refute this.

Is there website where you can find information on Roman Catholic clergy in Ireland?

Thanking you in advance for any information.

I am not sure about this. Although I think of have found the names of Richard's parents (Patrick Ryan & Catherine Laffan), I haven't been able to find anymore information on them.

Thanks for your help.
