Flynn , Henry Cooke Keily, born ca 1840 emigrated to SA in 1877, seek birth etc

Hi, I'm looking for birth details of my great grandfather, Henry Cooke Keily Flynn.

My great grandfather Henry Cooke Keily Flynn, born about 1840 to William Pyne Flynn and Sarah Cooke Kiely (surname unknown). He practiced as a surgeon in South Africa until his death in 1911. A McCreight family tree (attached) shows many of his relations, but I am unable to trace his birth. It appears that his family left Mallow before Henry or his brother Richard (b ca 1831) was born, as I paid for Mallow heritage centre to do a search.

Hello Dave, I am looking at old queries and can find no record of the birth or obvious births those parents. Nor can I see a marriage, we rely on church records at this time and over 40% of Church of Ireland (Anglican) records were lost in the civil war in 1922.

Onlince Cork records for the church are free here but I see nothing relevant https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/ sign in but free to look at.

Records for Mallow are held in Dublin (Have been transcribed) and your births should be reocrded as they commence in the late 1700s but marriages only from 1838, see https://www.ireland.anglican.org/about/rcb-library/list-of-parish-regis…;

So I am afraid I am no assistance, it appears the family were not poor so some other form of records may be available, estate records etc but Flynn is a common name.
