Farrells from St Mary’s parish, Donore, Co Meath

Hi, my grand father’s family  lived in Sheephouse, Donore, Co Meath. 

His name was William Farrell ( o’Farrell) 

his fathers name was John Farrell and Mothers name Catherine nee Taffe.

their son John and daughter  Bridget I believe never married and remained living in the home until their deaths in 1943 and 1944.

on a recent visit to Sheephouse we came across a row of houses and one of the occupants told us the houses dated back to 1820. Is there any way of finding out if these were the houses they lived in? 

another son, Patrick had Sheephouse as his address in the census and he was married to Bridget O’Brien and had one son. There were no numbers for the houses on the census.

i have located a 4th cousin through DNA who is a great grandson of Patrick Farrell. 

There was also a daughter Julia whose married name was Lynch. She had 2 children born in US, Thomas and Catherine, who were living in Sheephouse with their grandparents as per 1901 and 1911 census. 

i think their father died and Julia may have remarried, possibly a brother of her deceased husband.

I don’t know if John and Catherine had more children or if there are other relations still living in the area.
