Catherine married John Joseph Kelly (born 1873) in 1896, immigrated to Chicago, and died there 2-29-1944. Catherine is my Great-grandmother. I plan to visit Ireland in 2026 and am interested in visiting Waterford.

The subscription site Roots Ireland has records for a number of children of Peter Shanahan and Ellen Kane/Keane:
Richard 1862 Mary 1864 Johanna 1867 Catherine born October 24 1869 and baptized October 31 1869. There were also triplets in early 1872: John, Peter and Thomas.
Peter and Ellen were married May 4 1861 at the Trinity Without RC parish. Both lived on Convent Hill Witnesses were Patrick Leahy and Mary Keane.

Thank you for your responses. My information had Peter Shanahan as "a salter by trade". I also have Catherine as being born 10-30-1871 in County Waterford, and she died 02-29-1944 in Northfield, IL USA. This information (with her name spelled Katherine) is based on her gravestone on "findagrave" website. Is it common to have discrepancies on birthdates? Thanks, too, for the information on her siblings.
They did not celebrate birthdays in Ireland. Often people did not know when they were actually born. My grandmother always celebrated Dec. 25, which was not her birthdate. Her records show differences in the year of birth. What Roger provided was probably the actual baptismal year.
