Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
McDermott is a very common surname in Co. Roscommon. Could you provide names and dates for your McDermott ancestors? Thanks!

The marriage of Patrick McDermott and Mary Keenan was in 1836. See transcription from the subscription site Roots Ireland. They had at least seven children: Edward 1833 Patrick 1837 James 1839 Brigid Anne 1841 Mary 1843 Winifred 1846 John 1852
The spelling of their townland was Cloonarragh in Tibohine civil parish.
This may be the 1891 civil marriage record for Mary McDermott. She would have been 17 if this marriage is correct. https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1891/10662/5884877.pdf
