I would like to use this opportunity to make contact to a volunteer/volunteers from Bekan/region, familiar with its historical borderswho may share my interest in itsnatural heritage and that of the region including relevant built heritage. I spent a considerable part of my child- and adolescenthood at the ancestral home of my Ronayne-Tarpey ancestors, and like it inspired many of them to also engage at a regional, national, international level, I followed in their footsteps and am not based on the ground at this juncture. I hadalready acquireda wide knowledge of local history however, have followed local affairs in the meantime and kept an eye onthe local level of interest in heritage from a distance.Knowledge is still there, material heritage is endangered however, and now is the time for us whose" people" come from Bekan, from the region, to mobilise. Accordingly, I would welcome hearing from Bekan and thank you at the Reaching Out end for faciliating further contacts.

It's very cool to find your roots. I'm just writing about how cultural identity is formed. It is especially interesting how mixed culture people define their cultural identity. There is a lot of information about this at https://samploon.com/free-essays/cultural-identity/ as it is a very interesting topic for those looking for their roots. As a representative of mixed blood, I often have the following question.
