Eliza Kenny

Looking for any information on Eliza Kenny 1857-1858. I do believe Roscommon. Father's name Martin Kenny. She was married to a Peter Gormley, I do have that paper.  I can't read the townland or parish on it.

Thank you

Ballyleague is in the Elphin Diocese. Per CoPilot-

No direct 1800s Catholic parish records for Ballyleague are listed online, but the area may have been part of another parish whose registers are held by the NLI

Alice:

The RC parish for the civil parish of Kilbride is also Kilbride (Fourmilehouse). Unfortunately, there are no baptismal records for that parish from September of 1849 through April 1868 which would cover when Eliza was born.

I wasn't able to open link above.

Griffith's Valuation

Martin Kenny of Tully is the last name on the page. Click on Detail to find Lot location (map reference at the bottom). Use the large map view to search for Tully.

I found it helpful to use John Grenham's map to search for Tully.

Per the Griffith Valuation, there was also a Patrick Kenny leasing land in Tully at that time. Maybe a relative??

Per RootsIreland (paid subscription), Peter and Elizabeths' children- James 1877, Brigid 1878, Mary 1880, Peter 1882, Elizabeth 1884, Ann 1885, Martin 1885, Michael 1887, Ann 1889, Patrick 1890, Marcella 1891. I did not find any Kenny sponsors. There were a James and Brigid Gormley.

I did not find a death record for Elizabeth but assume she died between 1895 and 1901.

There is a tree on Ancestry with a Michael Kenny of Tully, Kilbride, father's name Martin. The tree identifies Bridget Fallon as mother. Eliizabeth's oldest daughter was Brigid. Not sure if last name of mother is Fallon but Brigid seems to work.

Maybe mother's death record.
