Edmond Doyle - sons Edmond and John

CorkChurchtown North Cork (Cork)

Hello

My Doyle family first immigrated from Cork (circa 1850) to England and then to Canada (1907).

I think the Edmond Doyle in the Tithe Applotment Book may be my ancestor.

1834 - Diocese of Cloyne - Parish Churchtown - County Cork - Townland Ballymacotter - Edmond Doyle

Do you know where Ballymacotter is today and what the nearest church and cemetery is?

It is near Ballycotton / Shanagarry area in East Cork.
Here are some links for you.
Free website:   www.historicgraves.ie ;  look up Churchtown North Cemetery / Churchtown South Cemetery and

Here is a link to where it is on the map https://www.townlands.ie/cork/imokilly/ballintemple/ballintemple/ballym…;    click with your mouse to enlarge it - the more you enlarge you can see near townlands.

Another link is:   https://www.johngrenham.com/c_parish/c_parish_main.php?civilparishid=3&…;

A list of cemeteries is here also:   cemeteries of ballymacotter in the diocese of cloyne
