We are visiting Ireland next year 2027 and I’m trying to locate any information about Joanne’s Devenish born 1791. He was sent to Australia as a convict in 1826. His parents were Thomas & Catherine Devenish and had a brother Christopher born 1789. I would love to hear from anyone who are linked to this family.
thanks Cheryl Devenish
Cheryl, I noticed you have a tree on Ancestry. Do you know if Christopher got married. I did not find a record on RootsIreland (paid subscription). You have him dying in Dalestown. Milltown in 1811. I think the town is Dalystown. RootsIreland shows that town name. Christopher's name is not on the record. Thomas, you show his death in 1824. If correct, he died in Moranstown, Milltown (per RootsIreland). Cheryl I can't add anymore to your tree. It looks like you took a DNA test perhaps that will provide you answers.
