Descendant of Maegher, McElroy from Waterford

Waterford

I am a descendant of Maeghers and McElroys from Waterford who came to the U.S. in the 1800s. I am planning a trip to Galway in June 2019 and am thinking of taking a train to Waterford to find out something about my ancestors. I am open to any and all suggestions. Thank you,

Warmly,

Christine

Hi Christine:

Thanks for your post to the Ireland Reaching Out message board.  If you have some names and dates for your Waterford ancestors, we can try to narrow down the area or parish where you would want to visit.  Please reply on this thread, and please be sure to keep us posted on your travel plans.

Kind regards,

Jane.
