Hello, I am looking at old queries and while it may not be easy to find more on the good captain, there is a maritime museum in Rosslare, Wexford here
https://www.visitrosslareharbour.ie/listings/rosslare-harbour-maritime-… They also have a preublin busence on Facebook if you care to look, there is a National Maritime Museum in Dun Laoighre, Dublin but I doubt they have this kind of information, there will also be private genealogy groups on Facebook dealing with Wexford if you care to apply to join.
There are almost 20 Mary Kavanaghs baptised circa 1824 in Wexford but no fathers name matches. You can see the registers here but no mention of an Adamine. https://registers.nli.ie/
Good Luck

Hello Pat,
Great to hear from you. Since I posted long ago I have located other possible leads. Mary's sister Ann followed her to England & married Francis Towns- she gave Darby's profession at the time as Coast Guard!
Have attaches some documents, including a baptism of a Mary to a Darby; different location but in the general area I think?
All the best and I hope you enjoyed St Patrick's Day! There is still a faint possibility that I might attend the Kavanagh Clan gathering this year!
Martin
Martin, this site has not been behaving recently and I keep losing answers, getting grumpy. Having been in the merchant navy as a young fella I took an interest in the coastguard, all records were returned to Kew following independence in 1921, here are some interesting links, you should be able to find pension records, where paid and to whom etc

I did not look for siblings of the Irish marriage but will if you need them.
