Daniel Bradley Born 1750

Daniel Bradley was born 1750 in Ireland and married Susannah (also from Ireland)in Virginia around 1771( not sure ofher last name but could be Smith). All of our searching is done but no one knows where in Ireland Daniel and Susannah came from. Any help would be so appreciated.

Daniel Bradley

Birth: 1750, Ireland
Death: 1840
Kentucky, USA

Daniel's parents are unknown

Married Susannah ? in 1771 in Va. I can not find their marriage license.
Some family members think that her maiden name was Smither but we can not prove this is her name.

Daniel and Susannah had 10 children.

1~Robert born 1772 in Va.
2~George born 1774 in Va died 1844.
3~Mary born 1776 in Va died 1820.
4~John Born 1778 in Va died 1840.
5~Daniel II born 1779 in Pa
6~Hannah born 1781 in Pa died about 1805 [she married
Peter Lock 25 February 1799 in Mercer Ky he was born
1766 in Va. and died 1840]
7~Reuben born 1784 in Pa and died 12-1845[married Lucinda Williams 22 Feb. 1839 in Monroe Co Illinois]
8~ELISHA born 12 August 1788 Madison Co.Ky and died 29 March 1880 in Bath Co Ky[he married Elizabeth[Betsy]Steele
2-October 1810 Montgomery Co Ky, she was born 8 February
1793 in Mercer Co Ky and died 12 October 1885 in Bath Co Ky]
9~Hiram born 1790 in Madison Co, Ky
10~William born 1794 Madison Co Ky

I found Daniel Bradley in 1840 Census in Bourbon Co. Kentucky. After 1840 he died.

I couldn't find a birth/baptism record for Daniel Bradley on www.rootsireland.ie/ 1750 + - 10 years.
In case you know of any of his siblings, I tried every letter of the alphabet for first names & found these:

Very few churches in Ireland have records back to 1750. I just checked Roots Ireland for 1740-1760 for all of Ireland and did not find a baptismal record for a Daniel Bradley.

Below is some information I pulled off of an Irish Times web site which shows where the surname Bradley was found in the mid1800s. Mainly, the surname is found in West Ulster province (Derry, Donegal and Tyrone counties). There was a lot of emigration from Ulster to the USA in the 18th century.

Thank you Roger!  I was reading yesterday that he was possibly Scot Irish so does this mean I need to look in Scotland?  They came to VA from what I gather and have no idea what ship they may have come over on.

Hard to tell if his family went from Scotland to Ireland or were native to Ireland. You can research in Scotland but I'm not familiar with record availability in the 1700s.
