current FREE access to Manx newspapers 1792-1960. Covering Ireland

Hello, Just thought I would share the following info regarding currently FREE access to Manx newspapers (1792-1960) as they not only cover news on the Isle of Man but also many other places. I have ancestors (McLeavey) that lived in Drummullagh, Carlingford and left there 1840s/1850s for the Isle of Man. It is interesting to read some of the stories of the time. In particular there are stories of the famine, extremely harrowing to read. Many local stories of Ireland are included.

Thanks for posting this information. I deleted your post in the Carlingford parish page since all postings end up on the main message board. Thanks!

Hello, sorry about the duplicate message. I am a newbie to this site and still finding my way around. Can you also please delete a message I added today to the Ancestors page. I have marked it as needing to be deleted. Thank you
