I'm searching for the Creaven family in Tuam, (also spelt over the years as Craven, Crevan). They came from Carrowntanlis. Patrick Creaven (born 1871) was a cattle dealer, married to Ellen (nee Reilly). They had 6 children. The only boy was Thomas Crevan (born 1899). Records show that he lived on Ballygaddy Road in 1936.

Hi Emer, I can see this post was made a good few years ago.
I am a Craven, born in Manchester, my grandfather was John Thomas Creaven, born 1934 in Ballygaddy Road Tuam, his father was Thomas Creaven, possibly the same one you mention born in 1899.
kind regards.
