Cooley Family Galway

Looking for Cooley’s in the Galway area.

My grandfather was Francis Augustine Cooley, born August 11, 1896, his father was Francis Joseph Cooley born, April 3, 1860 and I believe his father was Laurence Cooley, born in 1829.

I’m having trouble researching the Family after Francis Joseph due to all the duplicate names in families. There are at least four Francis‘s at least five Laurences at least six Marys, a Bedelia/Delia/Dublin. There are also many Thomas/Thos, Michaels, and Patricks.

Due to the fact that I don’t have birth and death years I am very confused as to which lines belong to which families.

If you’re from Ireland, or particularly the Galway area and you are a Cooley or know of Cooley can you please reach out to me?☘️

I found the parents of Lawrence Cooley born before July 21, 1824 baptized July 6, 1823. He married Mary Ward on November 4, 1849 in Saint Nicholas north and east in Galway Ireland.

His dad was Patrick Cooley born around 1800 married his first wife, Mary Codire and Rajon Galway November 18, 1822. She died between 1823 and February 1827. They had one child Lawrence Cooley mentioned above.

Patrick married his second wife Andy Clancy on February 10, 1827. I don’t know when Patrick Patrick was born but I know he died on June 2, 1884 and he had a will that mentioned his son Thomas born of Annie Clancy, and Patrick and Lawrence from his previous marriage. they went on to have many children. Peter Cooley died 1836 baptized 1828 Michael Cooley baptized July 31, 1829 Patrick Cooley baptized March 16, 1834 Peter Cooley baptized August 28, 1836 Thomas Cooley mentioned in the well baptized, March 26, 1839 honor Cooley married in 1867 to first husband ?Kelly. Her husband passed away and she remarried Michael Grealy on June 12, 1867. Honor was baptized August 29, 1842 and finally Bridget Cooley baptized January 17, 1846.

I’m looking for information on this family a particularly am interested in the father Patrick Cooley‘s birthdate and any information on his siblings or his parents.
