cloonascarbery clonbrock Co Galway

Hello,

I ifound a document stating that my ancestor John Hughes died in Cloonascarbery,Clonbrock Co. Galway. Death was in 1878 John Hughes b. 1808 m. Honora Jordan in 1836 in Ballygar had son Mat Hughes b. Abt 1841. I believe they may have been from Mt Mary / Sleivmurray and Johns brothers Matt b.1802-1883 & Patrick 1798-1858remained there while he went to Clonbrock. Their father was Nicholas b.1770 -?

Mat married Catherine Connelly from Caltra seems they too were in Cloonascarbery but later ended up In Ballinamore Bridge. John was buried with his wife in Killeroran Cemetery with his headstone placed by son Mat,which again leads me to believe that was home. Is there anyone that could look up Mats birth and if there would be records of other children,siblings of Mat. Or point me to wher I can look them up? I didnt find anything in Tithe that helped and Griffiths is later. Not sure of parish records and if Im in the right parish. Any help is most welcomed! And appreciated!
