I am looking for information on Carty/Meehan families. Mary Meehan was born in April 1819. Her parents were Thomas Meehan born 1791, her mother Margaret Hayes. Mary married Simon Carty born 1813. They had a son Thomas born in 1846. I am inteested in any information- church affiliation, Griffiths Valuation etc. Thank you, Sharon

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I located the baptismal record for Mary Meehan on the subscription site Roots Ireland. Her family was Roman Catholic. However, I did not find her marriage record to Simon Carty. I also did not find the baptismal record for Thomas Carty. I also did not locate Simon in the 1850 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing. Any other clues?

I have a death certificate for Simon (Simeon) Carty for 1905- here in Shoreham, VT USA. Has listed as his father- Joseph Carty and mother Mary Lynch both born in Ireland. Also Thomas Carty's birthdate is May 22, 1846- per Ancestry.com. That is all I have, thank you, Sharon
Sharon:
Sorry! No records are showing up for Simon or Thomas.
