I did not find any record of Terrence's birth on RootsIreland (paid subscription). There are 29 trees on Ancestry with Terrence's family.

I had a look at a couple of the abovementioned trees and at some census records on Ancestry. The family lived in PA at the time of the 1870 census and in Michigan at the time of the 1880. Most of their children were born in Michigan, but one was born in PA and another in MASS. Recommend that you have a look at this family on Ancestry or on the free familysearch site. Good luck!

first/last name spelling not a match…is there a marriage certificate.from June 1848 @ Lowell Ma?,

? born @ in Ireland 1820 ? Cannot locate his father, Patrick ( born @ 1790 ) in Ireland…

did he immigrate ? (Perhaps he did and Terrence was born on the east coast?

There are two marriage records above for Terrence's marriage in 1848. He might have been born before births were registered. In the 1870 census above he was born in Ireland. When he got married his parents were Patrick and Mary. Not knowing where he was from it is difficult to find info on parents. They might be too early and not be registered.
