Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

I searched Roots Ireland and found the same three baptismal records that you already have. Here is a link to the parish register http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0333   Records start in 1831. I would look for additional children. I did not locate the marriage record and likely it occurred in a church that no longer has records back to the 1830s.

Have researched family name (Cahalan/Cahalin)in Galway back to Killimor. Recently have had dna connections  to Cahill name. Cahill’s leaving Cootehill, Drumsillagh, County Roscommon  to Albany, New York. Also Cahalan from here changing name to Cahill. On looking back on history/lore both Cahalan and Cahill connect,Gaelic, Cathail and were descendants of Spanish royalty and Irish tribes, Cahail, way back.Some to be known as Cahalan andothers Cahill, so hence dna connection. Also note Cahill’s in Tonemace, Annaghdown, Galway who would appear to be connected to Drumsillagh family… Given the lack of records before 1800 it will be difficult to proceed backwards but perhaps to best way to widen connections would be sharing.  This is very tenuous and completely open to correction and addition.So if any of this fits with other researchers would be pleased hear from you, or if anyone has any comments they think would be useful.  Family history passed down said we had Spanish ancestors.
