Hello, looking for information on
Hugh Bryce born abt 1824 Ireland married Margaret Rodger born about 1826 from Donegal.
They moved to Greenock and had Daniel Bryce born 1850then Margaret, Hugh, John and Mary Jayne.
Daniel Bryce 1850 - 1886 married Margaret Beaton 1856-1936 they had Margaret 1879 - ? and Charles Allan 1885 - 1947. Thank you Niki :-)
Hello Niki. I am looking at old queries and there are no records of either baptism or a marriage, there are a number of Bryce or Brice baptised in Donegal, about 15 from 1814 to 1834 all are Church of Ireland, there are far more Rodgers and about 7 Margarets from 1816 to 1836, the Margarets are mainly Church of Ireland, two are Presbyterian, some Presbyterian records are not digitised and may be help by the HQ or Locally. Of the Margaret's named none are for hte year mentioned.
Sorry we cannot do better for now, the reason I mention the religion is to see what records are available for the area with the various religions as as we rely on that to search pre 1845 for Protestant marriages and 1864 for all civil registrations.
