Dear Spideog:
Many thanks for your post to the Ireland Reaching Out message board and welcome to the site!
We have a local volunteer in the Clonmel area who may be able to assist you and I will copy them with this post.
The event that you speak of is very interesting. Would you be willing to share it under the XO Chronicles as a Timeline Event? You can do so at this link:
https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/timeline
In addition, please be sure to add this Ancestor to the Ancestor Profile database for Ballyneale at the link below:
https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland/tipperary/ballyneale-tipperary
Thank you for your interest in Ireland Reaching Out. The very best of luck with your research!
Kind regards,
Jane.
