BRIGID KING VANDELEUR FROM KNOCKALAPPA CLARE

Brigid King was the second wife of James Vandeleur of SixMile Bridge Clare

They married at Sixmilebridge in 1837 and subsequently emigrated to South Australia.Several family trees suggest Brigid, born about 1808 ,came from  the Knockalappa townland area.

Any clues as to the King family from that area appreciated

Thanks

Thanks a lot McCoy and Patricia as well

I would love to visit the Gardens but unfortunately in chilly Melbourne at present.Have been lucky to visit East Clare several times

My enquiry about Brigid King Vandeleur (she died in South Australia in 1863) and her descendants,relates to a genetic match with  one of these Vandeleurs  Kings----and my King husband( his g-g grandfather King came to Victoria in 1844.)

My husband  also matches with descendants of the King family of Rannagh Tulla

In the Rannagh family, two Kings married in 1865.Michael(son of James King of Rannagh)and Brigid( daughter of Patrick King of Ballyfiddan )-

I would like to find out about  Brigid King Vandeleur and her King parents- but think this will be impossible without early parish records.
