Hi

Do you have any more information in relation to how long this family remained in Laois (Rosenallis/Mountmellick), if they emigrated, where to,..?

I've come across a few possibilities but the religion and locations vary.  A little more information would help me cross off a few of these and trace back to your Jeremiah Brazil.  St. Joseph's is the RC church in Mountmellick but by the early 1800s inter marriage between Quakers and other families was quite common, although frowned upon.  St. Joseph's served a number of different areas locally.  Why do you suspect your relations may have been Quakers?

Mountmellick's Heritage Week is on from the 17th to 25th August 2013.  You can find it at http://www.thegatheringireland.com/View-Gatherings/Individual-Gathering/Mountmellick-A-Tapestry-of-History/17%20August%202013/3522

During this a local historian from Rosenallis will be giving a talk (Friday 23rd) on the foundation of Mountmellick, Rosenallis & their Quaker Heritage.  There is also a heritage exhibition on the 24th & 25th which might prove of interest.  They are developing a 'board' listing people trying to trace back their heritage.  I can place your information on this too if you would like.

Have you traced your family back as far as Jeremiah Brazil and would like to find out more about him.  Or do you know he is one of your ancestors and you are trying to trace your roots / build your family tree?

Kind regards
Mary

Philipstown, New York is a quaint little town located in the Hudson Valley. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and lush forests, so it seems that this place would be perfect for any family but at the same time, children should follow this https://welpmagazine.com/all-you-need-to-know-about-business-assignment… site to learn some new skills to secure their future. However, Philipstown has one of the highest crime rates in the United States with over one hundred murders committed each year.
