'Killea' and 'Kill St. Nicholas' are both parishes in County Waterford located to the south east of Waterford city. 'Kill St. Nicholas' is closest to Waterford city and contains the town of Passage east, Killea is further south and includes the town of Dunmore east. In the 1800s they were separate Church of Ireland parishes, but for a time between about 1674 and 1813 they were part of a parish Union, the vicar at the time of the marriage you mentioned was a Alexander Alcock jnr.
See attached two maps showing the locations of these parishes using OpenStreetMap - the first shows civil parish boundaries in the area to the south-east of Waterford city, with Kill St. Nicholas & Killea highlighted, there's a small detached portion of Kill St. Nicholas parish south of the main parish and close to Killea.
The second map is an overview of the area showing Waterford City New Ross, and 'Waterford Estuary' - to the east of this is County Wexford, to the west is County Waterford to the south and County Kilkenny to the north.
The rivers flowing out through this estuary are known as the 'Three Sisters', the Nore The Suir and The Barrow. The river Suir splits off to the west and flows through Waterford city, the Nore and the Barrow flow up past New Ross before splitting. Parts of the suburbs of New Ross are in County Kilkenny.
Thanks so much for information and the maps!!!
