Robert:

Unfortunately, I was not able to find any good leads for Michael Brady or Mary McGiveney, At this point, I think DNA testing and the matches you receive would be the best approach to finding leads on your Brady family. As I mentioned in the earlier response on James Brady, a good number of RC parishes in Co. Cavan do not have records back to the early 1830s.

I also cannot find any information about Michael Brady.

I have searched for the  John Crowe RC baptisms but their are several near misses across different counties.....

Also I do not have any Hugh / John = J* Burkes/ Bourkes to help

It is possible and realistic to think that the the Hugh instead of John would suggest a protestant birth record and not an RC one? There was a clear division between Irish Crowes and ENglish ones These records are harder to come by

As reported earlier DNA matches should indicate an area of Ireland to concentrate on or if the English variety was coming through Ireland?

I have a one-name study for Crowe in Ireland and am knowledgeable about DNA too - have you tried a Leeds Method on your sample's matches? This should establish groups to concentrate your research on.
